WE SHALL BE STARTING NEW CLASSES FOR BEGINNERS ON 11th SEPTEMBER 2019.

Covering a fruit cake, decorating the sides, inscription and making a flower spray 

to go on the top of your Christmas cake.    :-)

Our INTERMEDIATE Classes will be making a spherical table centrepiece

We do not have any lessons during July and August due to members
and tutors going on their Annual Holiday. Or December - need time for

BEGINNER COURSE  of 6 weeks. 

Making a flower spray to go onto a fruit cake that you will cover and decorate (Ideally for Christmas)

Week 1.  Sept 11th     Foliage         

Week 2.   Sept 25th    Cosmos                                    

Week 3.   Oct 9th        Honeysuckle                            

Week 4.   Oct 23rd      Covering your fruit cake with marzipan and sugarpaste           

Week 5.   Oct 30th      Decorating sides and inscription (royal icing provided)

Week 6.   Nov 13th     Putting spray together to complete cake.                           subject to change SMQ
Nov  27th  Possible extra week if you wish at £9:    Christmas modelling

OUR NEXT BEGINNERS COURSE ON SUGARCRAFT

 

A six week course will be held in the Mission Room, Well Street, Finedon NN9 5JP

starting on Wednesday September 11th  2019 from  7.30 – 9.30pm.  The cost will be

£54 to be paid by   31st August, 2019 please.

 

The course will be to:  Make a flower spray to go onto your newly decorated Christmas cake.

You will need to make a fruit cake in advance.  I use an 8 inch square

but if you prefer round this is satisfactory.  It doesn't matter if you have not covered or

decorated a cake before because the idea is to show you how to. 

Remember - we all started at the beginning.....

All Monthly Meetings are held at

 
The Mission Room,  Well Street,  Finedon,  NN9 5JP​ and begins at 7.30pm we
finish about 9.30pm  Tea and Coffee is provided from 7.15ish to 7.30pm.
 
We do have stairs (approx 11) to climb, but we have another entrance if you
struggle on stairs,  Chris, our Secretary will ensure that the gate at the left
hand side of the Mission Room is opened for you to get in through the side
entrance and the back door.   
Raffle tickets £1. optional :-) 
Monthly entrance fees:
Wellingborough Branch Members £3.00 and Visitors £6.
BSG & Ind. Members £4.50 on presentation of your Membership card.
At the Meetings with tea/coffee included.
